Hospitalization guidance

What you need when you are hospitalized

  1. A personal seal (inkan) from each patient and family member is required for admission procedures.
Furthermore, in light of our hospital's infection control measures, if it is determined that special treatment and procedures are necessary, we may prioritize hygiene management and begin using designated hospital gowns and towels.
In order to prevent the spread of infection, we will adhere to special processing procedures and hygienic techniques, striving for a speedy recovery.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation with our treatment system.
  2. Toiletries (washbasin, 3 towels, 2 bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, plastic cup, soap, soap box, shampoo), detergent, tissue paper, etc.
    ※Electric razor for men
  3. Underwear, everyday clothes (approximately 3 pairs of tops and bottoms), pajamas, indoor shoes, outdoor shoes, etc.
※Please be sure to write your name in a visible place on all your belongings.
※We provide a chest with a lock for storing your belongings.
※Please ask the ward staff for details.
※You will need to purchase a prepaid card to do laundry.
  4. If you are unable to prepare these items, we also offer rental sets.
  5. Medicines prescribed by other medical institutions

Visiting another department

As a general rule, we ask family members to transport patients who need to visit other departments for checkups, examinations, etc. at medical institutions other than ours.
However, if a patient needs to be accompanied by a caregiver due to their condition, a family member is requested to accompany them.
Also, when visiting other departments (including when taking medication), an patient referral letter is required, so please be sure to inform the ward staff.

Going out/staying out overnight

At our hospital, we encourage patients to go out or stay overnight as necessary as their recovery progresses. As a general rule, patients should go out or stay overnight as early as possible. If you wish to do so, please inform your doctor.
Please note that for patients who are encouraged to go out or stay overnight, we may ask their family members to do so, so please cooperate.

Consultation

We have mental health and welfare workers (social workers) who help patients and their families with financial matters such as medical expenses, and with resolving issues related to daily life after discharge, so that they can live their recuperative lives with peace of mind, and to provide support and cooperation so that they can return to society as quickly as possible. Please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns or worries.
